UPSC invites application for Assistant Professors

Assistant Professors (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology from a recognized university or institution

Assistant Professors (Computer Science & Engineering)

Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (Degree Wing), Department of Technical Education, Chandigarh Administration (SC-1, OBC-1, UR-5).

Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs.6,000 (Academic Grade pay) (T.E. Rs. 41,040/-), + TA and HRA as admissible, General Central Service, Group 'A',Gazetted.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology from a recognized university or institution. Note : If a Class or division is not awarded, minimum of sixty percent marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class or division. If a Grade Point System is adopted the Cumulative Grade Point Average will be convertedinto equivalent marks as below:-

Assistant Professor (Bio-Chemistry)  in the Teaching Specialist Subcadre of C.H.S. at CIP, Ranchi, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. (OBC-1).

Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs.6,600 (Grade pay) + NPA, (T.E. Rs. 57,038/-),TA and HRA as admissible, Central Health Service , Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre of CHS, Group 'A'.

Max Age: 48

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION 
 (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

 (ii) Post Graduate degree in the concerned speciality i.e. M.D (Biochemistry), M.Sc.(Medical Biochemistry), Ph.D (Biochemistry), D.Sc.(Biochemistry or equivalent*. *The candidate holding DNB qualifications would need to get their qualification verified by NBE as to whether it is as per the requirement of the Gazette notification No.MCI-12(2)/2010- Med.Misc. dated 11.6.2012 and produce such verification certificate at the time of interview.

 HOW TO APPLY:
i) Candidates must apply online through the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.

ii) If the applicant is claiming any experience, then he/she has to personally upload his/her experience certificate in a single pdf file in such a way that the size file does not exceed 2 MB and is legible when a printout taken. For that the applicant may scan the experience certificate in 200 dpi grey scale.

iii) Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post and pay the fee for each post in the prescribed manner. iv) After submitting the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), the candidates are required to take out a printout of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application.

v) Candidates are not required to submit to the Commission either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document. They will be required to bring along with them the printouts of their online applications and the documents mentioned in para 7 below if called for
interview.

vi) The applicants are advised to submit only single Online Recruitment Application for each post; however, if somehow, if he/she submits multiple Online Recruitment Applications for one post, then he/she must ensure that Online Recruitment Application with the higher "Application Number" is complete in all respects including fee. The applicants, who submit multiple Online Recruitment Applications, should note that only the Online Recruitment Application with higher "Application Number" shall be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one "Application Number" shall not be adjusted against any other "Application Number".

vii) The candidates are advised to submit the Online Recruitment Application well in advance without waiting for the closing date
